Miniaturized sewer cleaning electronic

A miniaturized stacked electronic which fits into the small head of the nozzle. Microcontroller based, it is remote controlled through a long cable which connects to the base system.

Electronic design

It converts and sends the camera signal over a wire 1km long cable
It has an integrated engine driver for milling to clean the sewer
Several sensors are integrated and their data is preprocessed and sent to the remote control unit

Microcontroller Firmware

The firmware is written with performance optimized C-code
It has an integrated engine control loop
The communication to the remote control is done via Modbus over RS485
With the bootloader implementation, the FW can be updated from the remote control over serial bus without unmounting the device
