Our developed
module is an extention for the Optris XI
thermal imager series which allows to use those
USB-cameras as an integrated stand alone
system. Our module provides generic image
processing and thermal calculations to generate
alarms based on preset conditions. It colors,
enhances the image and streams it over network,
and it can be integrated in video management
systems. This module is used for thermal
observation and fire prevention.
Image Processing
- The system is based on a thermal imager for the data aquisition and transformations the raw data into corrected temperature information
- It calculates absolute and relative temperatures from the defined region of interests (ROI)
- With predefined rules, warning and alarms will be calculated
Embedded
- Embedded Linux management and setup
- The system can be updated via web server
- It has a modular software structure with Docker containers
System Hardware
- There are two hardware versions of this system
- Cost effective solution with IP65 processing box and a separate IP67 thermal camera
- Environment robust solution where everything is integrated into a camera enhousing
- Both versions are stand-alone systems with all system hardware integrated
- Both versions are powered over Ethernet (PoE)
- I/O Board allows to integrated to different external systems
Interfacing
- The web interface allows the user to setup and observe the system
- A low latency MJPEG camera stream is available via network which can be integrated into a video management system (VMS)
- An own developed hardware is included which is prodiving hardware outputs for an automation system
- Also TCP based REST and Socket interfaces are existing for an extensive connectivity
